kurozaiaku
I'm no stranger to installing mods to games at this point, my two biggest vices were Oblivion and Skyrim for a while, but I recently got the entire New Vegas set of dlc and the main game. Typically I'd just look at the top mods and pick and choose from there, but I wouldn't mind some experienced input on what I should install and what the mod order should be. I mostly like aesthetic touches (but that doesnt mean I wont add lore friendly guns or outfits, so feel free to point them out). I'd definitely want to get the bodies and faces of both males and females improved because New Vegas characters are ugly as sin. If there's any other utilities I should consider, that'd be nice to know about as well. So, any folks got some advice for me? JamesDaMasta
Gopher's "New Vegas Mod Clinic" has proven to be a pretty good place to start. And pretty much looking through the first few Top 25 Pages will cover everything from EVE (Which is for lighting) to Project Nevada (for complete overhaul) to even FALLOUT Redesigned (which 100% answers the Characters being uglier than Sin, from what you'll see). It's a bit tedious I'm sure, but it kinda feels like going shopping. You just have no idea what you'll find!

But I'll look into what you've mentioned. A good few mods also mention using Fomod? Is NMM not as good?

I only play on my Friend's Rig or watch People. I think NMM is good stuff but some Mods just can't mesh with each other. More likely whatever Mods you're considering have been reported to have issues when paired with NMM but not Fomod. If the Modder is still active, you could probably ask if there's a problem.
