Big Iron

Can anyone make a breech-load single shot .50 (or similar caliber) Revolver, with a texture inbetween That Gun, and A Desert Eagle, with a ting of 10mm Pistol? This seems like an appropriate gun to fit the name.

Edit: Found a gun that would work. If someone could port (or link to an existing port), I would appreciate it.

Careful. You'll get your thread locked if you bump it.

More to the point, the idea has merit, but there are only a handful of people around who can make new gun meshes and they have limited time. A completely new gun mesh takes a lot of work. And if they happen to like your idea enough to put all that work in it, is a whole other issue. So don't set your hopes too high. Most of the guns around are actually ported from mods for other games.

Generally, you might increase your chances of seeing anything come out of it, if you can find a free mesh that looks good enough for what you have in mind. Or possibly a mod for some other game, if you can contact the author and get permission. There are more people around who can do some quality porting, so that may increase your chances a bit.

Failing that, have you considered one of the existing weapons? There are some pretty big pieces of iron for your hip in the existing mods. E.g., I would recommend the silenced ultra SMG, but I'm a bit biased there ;) One of the .50 desert eagles, e.g., Vasht's, would also be some worthy big iron, IMHO. Or if you want seriously oversized, you can try one of the Warhammer 40k bolters. Etc. There is quite some choice of weaponry around, so you might find something good enough even if it's not exactly the one you have in mind.

EDIT: for that matter, have a look on the Fallout 3 nexus. Porting Fallout 3 weapons to New Vegas is really trivial -- as in, needs you to just change a short text in the file -- and while you would need permission from the author to release a New Vegas version, it's ok to port it for your own use.
