The item is currently in a UPS truck heading back to the vendor to be replaced with an identical item. If I still have problems with the new one any helpful info will be appreciated. Herculine Posted March 9, 2011 Author Share Posted March 9, 2011 UPDATE: After playing a game similar to musical chairs with UPS and FedEx I finally received the replacement hard drive today. Immediately upon start-up it was recognized by the OS and the drivers were automatically installed. Thanks again to everyone who posted advice.
