Krystinna Posted February 20, 2011 Share Posted February 20, 2011 I'm not sure if its relevant, but I'm running Windows 7, and, no matter what I do, I get (as my BF put it) Smears. The characters faces are all metallic, or pearlised, and the eyes aren't clear. I just re-installed the game, to get a clean slate, and will try, again, to add these mods. Tho I'm sorry to see that you're posting with problems :( Sounds to me like an issue with a mod that isn't working correctly, or texture files that are corrupted. First off, which version of the game are you playing? Steam? Ultimate Edition, or retail disk?This can cause problems because the steam and UE version have slightly different installation paths than the retail disk version do.http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/301703-weird-face-problem/ If it's the retail disk, first try reinstalling any of your mods that add options to the CC (Character creator) like eyes, skins, tattoos, hairs, etc. And make sure to update your chargenmorphcfg.xml file with the face compiler. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=971 ANd if you're running the mod "Realistic teeth" uninstall it and remove the folders in your documents/bioware/dragon age/addinsand documents/bioware/dragon age/packages/core/override folders that the mod installed.
