obobski
If I'm remembering correctly, the 7870 will be the fastest of the bunch, and then it will either be the 660 Ti or the 7850. Out of curiosity why are you limited to these cards? They're all relatively older - by itself that isn't explicitly a problem, but newer cards like R9 280X or GTX 960 would be faster still, and aren't horribly expensive. Higher end cards cost double. The GTX 660 and HD 7850 are at the same price range as well as the GTX 660 Ti and HD 7870. 5500 (GTX 660 and HD 7850) / 7500 (GTX 660 Ti / HD 7870) PHP maximum, 2nd hand and at good condition with box and accessories. I won't be upgrading my monitor to 1080p just yet because I will skip it and go 1440p in the future anyway. (5 Years or so... I don't know either.) obobski
Ah I see. I think the 7870 or 660 Ti either would be a good choice, and at ~720p you may end up more CPU limited anyways (this isn't saying Q6600 is bad or anything, just that lower resolutions tend to exhibit less significant differences between newer, higher-end graphics cards). If you're interested in games beyond Skyrim there are some other differences between the two that may be worth considering, like the GTX 660 offering PhysX, or the 7870 offering Mantle. You'll also get SSAA as an option on the 7870 in the base drivers, and afaik this can be enabled on the nVidia card with a registry tweak.
