runaway dragons

So 5 times now, I have either found a sleeping dragon or run into a dragon. I damage them. if they are flying I use dragonrend.

 

but then after they are run off to land and by the time I get to them, they keep fleeing.

 

I hit an elder dragon with dragonrend and I was really far up a mountain. he flew off far before his forced landing and I never got him.

 

this gets old.

 

is there a fix for this? mod?

 

 

It seems like eariler in game the dragons would fight random things but that they really wanted to attack me.

 

now they run like bunnies.

I've had dragons fly off, too. No idea why it happens. The most irksome situation for me is when I trounce a dragon on a mountainside and the dying dragon crashes/dies on the other side of the mountain, . . . and then I can't find him! <lol> Seems impossible, but it happens. I don't mind all that much, though, because it seems like I usually run across another stray dragon shortly afterwards.

 

Still, . . . 5 runaway dragons in a row would really get old. Hope you start getting some gutsier dragons! :)

me too. I got the mod that makes dragonrend more powerful. we will see.
