ENB causing a... smudge effect? Also flickering problems

So I just recently installed an ENB for FNV. I've been a longtime modder for Bethesda games, but this is the first time I've ever bothered to try to put myself through trying to get an ENB to work, so apologies if I should know better.

 

I'm using the Bleak and Grim ENB, and noticed pic related

 

As you can see, there's some weird kind of smudge glitch happening that's particularly noticeable when facing dark areas with some light sources still shining on the camera. I tried searching this issue on the mod page and Googling it, but there's pretty much nothing on it. What the hell is going on?

 

I'm also having some flickering problems with light sources. I've had this before on Skyrim to some extent, but it wasn't really that bad. This is much worse and I don't know how to fix it.

Lol, I just found the fix for this after using different search terms. Turns out that the problem is enblensmask.png for anyone else having this issue.

 

The flickering is still a very pronounced issue though, and I have yet to find anything that appears to be relevant to my setup. Lights will flicker on and off depending on what direction I'm facing, and with the ENB I'm using this is particularly noticeable because it makes shadows very dark.

 

EDIT: Well, actually, it looks like this problem may be mainly confined to the Lucky 38 Reloaded suite - and the mod author says he's going to be coming out with a possible fix for this in the next version. It still happens in Mr. House's suite, but that room is already buggy as hell. So, I guess this thread can be ignored unless anyone else is having the same problems as me and wants to look through it.
