Wyldsong
So, I have had one of the more popular tat mods in Skyrim, Dragon Age, and DAII. I was thinking about maybe trying a DAI port...anyone know how hard it would be to port tats made for DA to DAI? Or is there anyone that wants to try their hand at porting the mod over, since I am not sure I will convince myself to actually do it?
zalunaya
You would grab the DAI Modding Tool and extract textures [TextureAsset] from the location:Data->da3->actors->baseheads->textures->tattoos Each tattoo has RGB layers, each color represents a different tattoo. So just hide the others and edit the red, green, or blue layer to replace that tattoo. At this date, you could not add a new tattoo to the list. Import your new modified ones, using the same double-click menu used to extract. Save As whatever and good to go...usually.Once in a while things import wonky and look low resolution ingame (only had it happen twice). Solved that by renaming/moving the files around, then re-importing. Incase there's interest: Current Tutorials for modding DAI.
