Codex Mod

Ummm, Why? The journal records what you've done/need to do. The Codex provides background info on the World, and the items, characters, and critters in it. Why would you want to clutter either one with the contents of the other?

Ok, I'm not trying to bash on your idea, or saying that its a bad idea, or anything like that.

But I'm seeing something that might cause some gamebreaking bugs, with a mod like this.

 

Some of those codex entries are the results of plot flags and triggers. For instance, you get one when you have x conversation with x character.

With those entries already in your codex, such and such trigger may not go off, or such and such plot flag may not be read correctly. And you wouldn't be able to HAVE that conversation with X about X.

 

Basically what I'm saying is that this might make it so that some of the things that are supposed to happen in the game, don't. And that its got a very big possibility of breaking your game.

I see how that could cause some issues, but what about using said mod on a character that has beaten the origins game and is ready to be transfered over to awakening? That way all of the codex events have already happened. The main reason that I want this mod is because I hate the fact that you cant get all the codex pages during a single play-through and would like to have a complete codex list when transferring my character over to awakening.
