asd000
Is there a way to disable my mouse's scroll wheel in Skyrim? There's nothing in the in-game keybindings, and I can't find anything in the .ini files but I'm not sure. I've got a Razer Naga mouse, which is.. kind of an over-designed piece of crap (I used my last mouse - a $10 Logitech thing - for about a decade with no problems, and the Naga is physically failing after about a year). One of the problems it has is that the mousewheel is now extremely jumpy and has totally unpredictable effects. I can't even touch the thing to click mouse button 3 without the wheel sending all sorts of random input to my computer. When I try to scroll with it, it seems to tell my computer it's being moved up and down simultaneously at a high speed. In Skyrim, this has the effect of switching between first and third person randomly, and since mouse button 3 is the one I like to use for the dual wield blocking mod, half the time I block it also pulls me back out to third person, which is very disorienting. What I'd prefer to do is just eliminate any effect of the wheel on Skyrim. I'd like to map something else to zoom in/out, but losing that functionality wouldn't be so bad if I could avoid the constant perspective/zoom shifting. Does anyone know of something I could add to the .ini to fix this?
