1st Person Camera Issues

I ust tried to install deadly reflex, it got buggy so I unistalled it and now i notice that my first person view is messed up. it is zoomed in to where you can barely see my character's hands, and recently if i tried to do a power attack, it shifted even further so that it looks over my left shoulder. I am assuming it is a fairly easy fix of going into the .ini and adjusting the first person camera views, but i don't know if that's where i should start. thanks in Advance.

Well first of all, DR6 changes the 1st Person Animations. It's not zoomed in, it just has the hands posed lower down to a more realistic position. Are you sure what you're seeing is a bug?

When you say "it looks over my left shoulder" do you mean the view has shifted so bad that it now swings around outside your head all the time, or just during the move and then it's back to where it was again? If it's the first one, you didn't install the right skeleton. If it's the second one, it's supposed to do that. I personally don't remember what that animation looks like, but I did have an issue with my skeleton.nif and view shifting, so I'm asking about both.

I deactivated it as well, but I'm keeping the animations. They don't bug like you said on my game, so I'm thinking you didn't install everything properly.

It did probably change the hands to a more realistic position like you said but then when the view shifts it stays that way, you see my two hands floating and the view is outside my head entirely it is about 3 foot back over my left shoulder, and it stays like that, and that is an issue, would i just have to go in and delete the skeleton.nif and restore the default one?

You could just delete the skeleton.nif and thus restore the default one, yes. But I'm not sure that would help. I think the DR6 animations are intended for use with the skeleton.nif that comes with it. Come to think of it, did you perhaps not install it at all? Maybe that's why your animations are bugging. If you just dragged folders into your Data folder then I guess you did install it, but maybe you installed a different mod that put it's own skeleton in? I don't know. Try reverting back to the vanilla skeleton. If that doesn't work, put the DR6 skeleton back into the 1st person folder. Maybe something screwed up with it before?

I wish I could help you further. Sometimes it seems like I'm the only person who has trouble making the most popular mod for this whole game work right, and everyone else are all crowing "Yeah it works just like it says! Awesome! I love this mod because it works so well!"

Good luck.

Hey, I ended up deleting an animations folder and it cleared it right up, it was mixing up two different 1st person skeletons so i must have installed it incorrectly, but i got it all taken care of now, thanks for your help, my game works great again. Thanks!
