Beriallord
This game consistently ran like garbage on 2 different PCs of mine, both of which far exceed the recommended specs, and I couldn't figure out why until recently. The culprit is Intel RST not getting along well with Denuvo DRM which DAI uses. This is no fault of Intel, and the blame is 100% on Bioware for using this invasive encryption method. I hope they release a patch in the future that removes the encryption. Intel RST is typically used by people who've got Intel Z** motherboards that support SSD caching. So if you want to play DAI, gotta uninstall it to get consistent FPS. With Intel RST installed, my R9 390 was dipping into the single digit FPS on LOW SETTINGS. Uninstalled it, and now I'm consistent 60fps with MAX settings (no MSAA). So yeah, the difference is that huge. Thandal
The suggestion that your performance issues have anything to do with the DRM is a complete load of crap. It gets totally out of the way immediately after validation, and has ZERO to do with performance on your machine while the game is running. I've been running RST for years and ahve never seen any fps problems. But you may be right about RST, I can't say since I have a Z-series m/b. Disabling it may help some people, and it doesn't hurt to try.
