Mod Organizer is difficult

I start Mod Organizer, check 2 mods: Unofficial Patch esm & Sydney Follower esp...

Then "error: failed to access Fallout 3 GOTY\Data\Anchorage.esm (Access is denied [5])"

Anyone can help how to use Mod Organizer for this noob?

where is every thing installed at?

this is common with some things and settings, all you need to do is close Mo and reopen it, most of the time it's due to installing the wrong type of packages.

xml instructions were not read correctly or the version of mo your currently using was installed into a protected area of your PC's platform.

"access denied" is a windows fault, a permission issue ,not mo's.

Ok, fould out that MO must run as administrator or the "access denied" error will popup

But Fallout 3 itself has a big bug: alt tab, and you can never maximise again until you kill Fallout3.exe

2 possible solutions, Fake Fullscreen: how do I run Fallout_Fullscreen.exe with MO insted of Fallout3.exe?

OneTweak: what does require FOSE mean? FOSE is a loader that also runs Fallout3 only with plugins, how does that work with MO?

yeah, stinks you can't have it all, only one command is possible, you must keep in mind, all your saved games will store all of the information including how it was launched, data that is in control.

Fose ? = (Fallout Script Extender.) www.silverlock.org

there are others too, only so much you can pile on...if you do not posses the knowledge, then you need to keep things in a standard way and not go overboard.

Fake full screen, there are 2 types used, one of these does not require it to be ran with the game, it can be placed any where and executed just once, it will always be running, then you can use other things, but compatibilities are then a subject...too much is going on before the game's data even begins to load.

User beware.

I run FO3 in window mode & have edited fallout.ini file so i do not see any window borders except 2 3rds of the title bar, no taskbar either.

My res is 1920x1080.

iLocation Y=-9

iLocation X=-3

This is what i see when i play.

Is this a TV set? some TV's have a screen ratio auto reset control on the remote control device. when you activate that. the screen will respond on the set, if it is a monitor? it too may "may" have a auto scan reset feature...this is a conflict on the hardware level verses windows control of the device, most of the time is out of sequence...Fo3 as a nasty habit of defaulting your screens settings to 800x600....Just large ugly settings...not nice.

some times you can even alt tab out of the game and your desktop is huge and all ugly while the game is active.

It depends on a lot of things so tracking down the exact issue here is difficult.
