AlexialAngel
Ok so I made a Lorne companion using the Geck and the NCCS Mod and gave him green skin, like Lorne has. Been playing with him for about a month and all was normal. But suddenly, today I went through a door and his face turned back into regular skin tone. What's weird is its just his face and not his body which stays green. I try loading a previous save and his face is still flesh colored. Was there some type of update or something that could be messing him up?...Can anybody help me??

GrindedStone
Depends on how it works I guess. 1. Turned green thru the GECK ability to set colored sliders while creating a race. This being a sort of post processing on the default white guy face texture. FACEGEN is all long lines of Hex by the looks of it. You have symetrical, non-symetrical, an then texture. I reckon that would have to be created in the GECK, then you would have to use FNV edit to move that texture hex data to a FACEGEN preset so that you could then create a character. 2. Turned green thru the creation of a new race which uses a custom texture. With the option of manually setting the FACEGEN texture Hex data to Zero. This being done by pasting a normal texture hex data line into Notepad with word wrap disabled. Which you then have a very long line of Hex to which you can either count how many sets of 2 there are then write your Zero I.E. 00 00 00 00 00 00 however many sets there are. It needs to be accurate though. Once you have the Zero line you can then paste that into the Facegen Hex data for the facegen preset for that race, which will allow the exact match of the textures. I.E. what you see in the texture is what you see in the game, which is actually possible to match Wrist, Body, and Head so that in-game you have a matched skin. Then when you want an edit just edit the texture itself. However anytime that any of the sliders in-game are moved it knocks the Zero off it tries to automaticly balance itself. By moving this sliders the others moved an such, an it's no longer zero. The old game seems like folks would blame this issue you have on the mod not being created as a .Esm, but that's rumor not really proven. It could just be that somewhere the texture for the human head got extracted to teh data folder but the rest of the contents of that folder were not. This would make it so that when you move the sliders for character generation on that race nothing would happen. When you create a new race you run into this. But it could be what caused your green skin to vamp out. You could also try starting a new game an see what the guy looks like.
AlexialAngel
Hmm tried the new game idea and he's still white face with green skin. Tried to correct the problem in Geck by deleting everything and starting over and now his whole body is white. -_-; even though the image in Geck shows as green... I even have the main file as an esm not esp.
