amd64gamer
Now that Obsidian/Bethesda has released New Vegas Update for the Dead Money DLC, they've introduced yet another set of game-stopping bugs to an already marginally stable game. Since the update via Steam, the time it takes to transition between indoor and outdoor levels has increased, along with more CTDs as you move between them. Along with Novac, Goodsprings is now plagued with random missing terrain and buildings that you can fall through. My decision to hold out on getting Dead Money was justified. I sense another Operation Anchorage and Broken Steel fiasco where patches for additional content creates more problems than they solve. I'm down to only being able to play New Vegas for a hour at best before the game crashes, where as I could play for much longer periods of time before these last two patches. It's a shame Steam prohibits the ability to download and use previous version patches that were less problematic. With Crysis 2 weeks away, it's time to give up on New Vegas for now. Maybe by the time they release a GOTY edition, Obsidian will have patched the game to a point where you can spend more time playing and less time being dumped back to the desktop. Fatalmasterpiece
The problems you mention could be caused by modifications you have made to the game and its data folder as well.
FatalIllusion
Mate, the patch CAN'T introduce new bugs. This little patch just added the support for new vegas, the REAL patch is coming out soon! Btw trust me,try to check your mods and your graphic drivers..after I did a clean up and reinstall drivers..I play new vegas at full speed and at max detail(I haven't added textures replacer yet).Just use the d3d9.dll,which fixed all my problems even after the patch and the new vegas stutter remover to be sure to not get any stutter! Evil Lord Proteus
Im getting this problem aswell. Goodsprings Salloon can now no longer be entered, the doors are just generic open/close doors that lead to the inside of the building model but not the actual Salloon worldspace. This happened after installing Deadmoney, while previously it was fine. All fingers point to the new DLC/Patch.
