Jimmious
Hello everyone, nice to meet ya all :)So I want to play a better FO3 so I'm considering some mods.I want to play with the following mods activated: FO3 Wanderers EditionMarts Mutant ProjectFallout 3 Re-AnimatedDCInteriors Project First of all is it possible or do these mods conflict? And on a second note, do you have any other specific mods that will increase realism AND fun at the same time? Thanks!
Nihilisaurus
Did that but without FWE, should work fine.
Jimmious
Did that but without FWE, should work fine. I kinda have them in an "order of preference" there, so FWE is probably the most important for me to have hehe. You wouldn't happen to know if this would also be ok eh?Thanks for the answer
WastelandAssassin
i know that FWE and MMM works together really welli've been using these two for years now, and i am really happy about ityou will need to go to the FOIP page, and get the patch for these two i don't really know about Fallout 3 Re-Animatedit really depends if FWE has Iron Sights for weapons or not (since i use BoE and EVE too, i really can't recall)if it has Iron Sights, it will make using these guns a real painsome of the animations from this mod are good, but i removed most of them, as they really made it hard to use weapons properly as for the DC Interiors Project, i never used it, but there should be no conflict with it, so go ahead and use it all in all, in every big mod's page, there should be a section about compatibility, so read what it says, as it usually has the answer if you want an awesome experience, you may want to try a mix of FWE + MMM + FoTM + EVE + BoE + WMKthere is a rather new patch, should be in the top 5 mods right now, that allows you to use FWE and MMM and FoTM, and an EVE patch should come real soonand as the creator of this patch uses BoE too, he guarantees that this will work together really welli use this mix aside from FoTM (because i started my latest game a long time before this patch was uploaded), but if i ever get to have another go of FO3, i must use FoTM as well i would also recommend Fellout, which is an amazing mod that gives the wasteland a new, more beautiful look, while making it feel more realistic (and in a way, more cruel, especially with it's darker nights)

Doesn't seem so natural to me after a nuclear war... But anyway, how the hell should anyone know how the sky would be in that occasion? Hehehhe

nisen
let me save you the time for the search, and just give you links to these mods FWE FoTM patch (look under the Requirements tab for links to both FWE and FoTM)holy crap, so fallout tactics is a 1GB download? is it too noob to ask the basic gist, does it just rework NPC AI so everyone fights smarter (taking cover, flanking, coordinating attacks ect) ? xCalibr Ammo (needed for BoE) sry whyve you included this? the main BoE file comes with xCalibur.esm and xCaliburUniverse.esm, and has all the ammos required to play BoE weapons Jimious, id also recommend waiting till your done with the facegen before installing Re-Animated, it adds an idle animation where your character keep looking around so hard to see what your doing in that menu another essential mod is Darnified UI F3 makes all menus more compact, especially the pipboy Edited February 24, 2011 by nisen
WastelandAssassin
i'm not really sure if FoTM is affecting AI or not, but if i recall correctly, FWE already does this as for the xCalibr ammo, i added this because i couldn't remember if it was really required or noti know that the xCalibr Store mod required this, but i couldn't remember if BoE already had the resources or notso i wanted to prevent any problems (and i'm sure people will forgive me for an unnecessary link) i would also recommend using Darnified UI, it is practically essential, and being so, i forgot it was even therebelieve me, the game looks so much better with the HUD of Darnified UI
