frasil Posted November 5, 2003 Share Posted November 5, 2003 Somewhere off the coast, West of Seyda Neen (right next to where the sea-floor goes flat forever) there are some (3 i think) passive ash-ghouls. There is no Dagoth-Ur related stuff in the area. They're just standing on the sea-floor as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Since their fight rate is 0, they talk to you. Actually, by talking to them I found out I was **(you know, don't want to spoil <_< )** ... Other than being a MAJOR spoiler available at the very beginning of your travels, do they have any meaning whatsoever? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(I have a permanent water breathing enchantment and have explored most of the - largely uninteresting - sea bed.) I shall send my guy off to scout them out immediately. frasil Posted November 5, 2003 Author Share Posted November 5, 2003 Ok, I got the specs. West of Seyda Neen there is a fairly large island (it stands out in the map). On that island you can find the Sarys Ancestral Tomb and the Aharunartus Cave. Swim a short distance north and you will find an ash ghoul underwater. I haven't checked for the others, but they're around there somewhere. I strongly recommend you use a powerful night-eye spell, because the ghouls' grey skin doesn't contrast with the dark ocean floor. Another thing... it attacked me this time!!! Not at first, but after I spoke with it, it lost it's cool. He calmed down a while later, though. Strange. Anyway, I found him right now with a level 30 Argonian. Last time, it was with a level 12-15 High Elf. Beware!!! If you plan on following the main story, DON'T talk with it!! It's a SPOILER!! It'll ruin some (pretty amazing) surprises for you. almusik Posted November 5, 2003 Share Posted November 5, 2003 I just checked in the TESCS; the cell is 'Bitter Coast Region -5, -8', halfway between the Odai river mouth and Sarys Ancestral Tomb: it's a leveled creature for the 6th House related interior cells. Weird.Weirder still are the dialogue topics related, though they aren't specific of the bathing guys but generic ash beasts topics.I'd suggest not to talk to them unless you've finished Caius Cosades quests, they spoil the game heavily!
