Dralel
Firstly, my specs: Graphics card: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset FamilyRAM: 3GBCPU: Dual Core Intel ® Celeron ® 2.2ghzOS: Vista 32-bit I know, they're really bad, I never intended for my laptop to be a gaming machine though. So, can I run it? ...However, my laptop definetly runs Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas no problem as I play them regularly. I know I may not have high settings for DA:O, but can I at least run this game to the state of playable? Thank you!
Codifer
This site: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intelgm45/sb/cs-029450.htm Has a list of playable games for that chipset. Dragon Age is not one of them but I do not know how old the list is. I do notice that COD 4 is on the list and I think that that is a fairly recent game. Dragon Age is a hungry game and loves to chew through your resources. If it were me, I would try it anyway. Most you could lose is a few beers. Jiggalopuff
Generally, Intel graphic cards aren't really meant for gaming, If it does run, it'll melt your CPU. ...However, my laptop definetly runs Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas no problem as I play them regularly. I know I may not have high settings for DA:O, but can I at least run this game to the state of playable? If you can run New Vegas, you should be fine. Chances are your laptop will run DA:O as well as it runs FO:NV. I have both games and I would say that they utilize roughly the same amount of resources. Codifer
Ok, So you could be out a few beers..... and your CPU. I had read that Intel laptop graphics chipsets did not perform as well as ATI's but the meltdown of CPUs I had not seen.
Sync182
Laptops are generally not intended for high-end gaming. Your graphics chipset (Intel) and CPU (Celeron) are proof of that. But, if you can run other similarly-specced games on it, then give it a try.

If you run it 2+ hours, yes. I myself have destroyed a Gateway simply by gaming on it too much(Or more precisely, playing Second Life 2+ hours a day).
