silverjoe Posted February 25, 2011 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Hello, i purchaced NV, updated all on steam, played it.. fine Added 20+ mods, played it .... fine changed a few mods,, played it.... no sound, including music, sfx, speech e.c.t tried completely uninstalling, vanilla game, delete all registry entries e.c.t no sound. i dont know what to do, i have fine sound on all other games, pc, including oblivion and fo3 i dont use a soundcard Specs:ATI 4870 1GB4GB DDR2 800AMD ATHLON II X2 250NO SOUND CARDWIN7 64bit My bro had the same problem, and he only fixed it by formattin pc, he had a soundcard tho, so thats probably not the problem. If you don't have a soundcard, it means you have Onboard sound (meaning it's built into the motherboard) It still has a driver an settings. GrindedStone Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 Well you could try installing it outside of program files. Most people do an most of the time even if it doesn't do anything. But there used to be problems with installing FO3 in program files. Since it's limited to FNV it could be that the configuration settings got messed up.The volume settings in the game an the FalloutDefault, Fallout.ini, an FalloutPrefs.
