trandolp
This might be a stupid question, but I recently got TES4 and I am wondering what mods are good? Mods I am currently looking for are just Game-play(Fixing and making certain things more realistic), Weather type mods, Environment mods, and just things that make the world more beautiful. Any recommendations would be wonderful. I thank you all very much for any advice and recommendations you can give me.
Balakirev
All sorts. It depends on what you want. Take a look at the categories under TES Nexus' search, and figure if any of those interest you. Start to look through them. Get some idea of what you really want. Then come back and ask about specific mod types, such as "What small house mod in a big city is really good?" or "What new (as opposed to redesigned) dungeon mod is really good?" or "What armor mod using the HGEC body is really good?" etc. We'll gladly help out. trandolp
Well, Since it is my first play through, I am really just looking for things to make the game more in depth. Like a Weather mod, HD mod, or UI mod. Though I will probably go with Darnified. I am just looking for general recommendations for making the game look better and run smoother. For all body types, clothes, races ect ect, i will look through all that eventually.
Balakirev
You might want to consider Qarl's Redemized, for better graphics at no cost in performance. And whatever weather mod you decide on, consider Storm and Sound, which adds storms outside, and the sound of storms and rain, inside buildings. I like the storm mod quite a bit actually.
Balakirev
I've also had excellent luck with Advanced Water Modification, and the Animated Window Lighting System and Chimneys is about the last word in bringing city buildings to life, at night. You'll want to use the Oblivion Mod Manager to install the latter (if you decide to go with it), as it automates a host of choices you have seamlessly.
