big0ofN
Let me start by saying that I have been playing this game for many years. And I have faced several hurdles time and time again that I found solutions to on these and other forums. But this one is puzzling. I seem to be getting several stutters when loading each part of the wasteland. And I'm fully aware that new objects need to load and may cause slight stutter but this is HIGHLY noticable frame drops with every few steps. Turning around in an already loaded area doesn't seem to cause the same issue. This is different from other stutter/lag issues I've read about in that I haven't had it before in the years I've been playing this game. I've attempted different settings (including various resolutions, grid settings, etc.) all on separate saves to be safe. Just about any common fix, I've tried it. The big flag for me is that when I open my console I see several lines reading "iBitmask rActorGBO" followed by values that seem to be resolutions, i.e. 256, 4096, etc. If anyone has any information I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm trying to get back into New Vegas so I can continue my modding from FO3 but this is a bit of a setback for me. Thank you. Fallout2AM
It's BLIND and you have Debug mode activated?
big0ofN
I thought that might be what it was. I doubt that that's what's causing the problem though. I may just have to try a reinstall.
Fallout2AM
the stutter on cell change, I agree, it would be weird because there's not a lot of workload on that. However you can test it easily. Save the game, walk, change a couple of cells and see if it stutters. Then reload, disable BLIND via MCM, and make the same exact path you did before, see if something changes. If you can give a feedback I'll be pleased. big0ofN
ISSUE SOLVED!!!!============================================================================================ I just ended up reinstalling. It was an old installation with tons of mods that have come and gone from my load order. Chances are some straggling files were causing issues. But it definitely had nothing to do with BLIND. I'm using it now with no issues. Edited July 23, 2015 by onowrouzi
