Ozzy590379132509
My game crashes a few seconds after I load it. Wierd thing is that from time to time I'll actually be able to play for quite some time and it will crash maybe once every hour or so. I reinstalled the driver to my video device or whatever, and that seemed to work but only temporairly. Now, I read that the problem may be fixed by renaming the file 'mpeg2dmx.ax', but I dont know where to find that. What will also happen sometimes is that when I step outside from a bulding the game will freeze, but not entirley. Its like it's in slow motion, so I have to time hitting the 'esc' key perfectly to be able to exit the game without having to manually restart my computer. When I do restart my computer manually I sometimes get a blue screen that says that some device is caught in an infinite loop and it dumps all the physical memory or somethin. I run the game in medium quality like the game suggested, so I don't know if that has anything to do with this. Any help is appreciated.
old1eye
What are your specs? It might be that your compy simply isn't good enough to play, Oblivion is quite a high-graphics game.Try turning the texture size to large (its worth sacrificing eye-candy for gameplay)
