someguynamedjoe
Hi, I'm running a mod that populates an area, and there's corpses everywhere that seem really out of place. Is there a way to make them go away?
iavor55
Console, click on the corpse, type disable, press enter.
thegoodnamewasused
ironically though, it only disable the visual, if you wave you cursor over the place where the body was, its usually still there.
iavor55
Not for me. Try doing it on a pile of rubble or something like that, it removes it physicly aswell.
GrindedStone
Anything that is enabled by a parent will only be disabled if the parent is disabled. For example the Powder Ganger NPC's that attack Goodsprings are enabled by a parent X marker which a script enables thru the quest. The quest enables the X marker an that enables the NPC's an you can now see them. But if you type in Disable on these it does nothing, because the parent is still enabled. In these cases you need the ID for the Parent that enabled them. Also NPC's with the Quest/Persistant refrence flag set on them don't automaticly disapear when the cell cleans up or respawns. There are some game settings that deal with the piles of dead bodies. Search Complex because they are all names ExcessDeadComplex count or something.
