The vanilla paths are:

textures\clutter\questitems\GECKplatformmetal01.dds

textures\clutter\questitems\GECKplatformmetal01_n.dds

textures\effects\ShinyDull_e.dds

Enter those in the appropriate place in NifSkope and you should be okay.

ok, tnx For that but i can't find any folder named questitems in textures\clutter :/ can anyone sent or link it someway?

Thanx in advance :)

A light-bulb has just gone on and I realised you must be editing objects in the GECK, I assumed you were editing the nif :wallbash: Sorry.

The textures are safely tucked away in 'Fallout - Textures.bsa'.

If you want to extract them you'll need something like FOMM

edit. If it's an 'Alternate Texture' you selected, just delete the new entry in the list (they should all be blank) and the model will revert to vanilla.

If you extracted the files then you have it, so what's the point of someone sending it to you? It must be in the wrong place.

Did you select the 'Data' folder when extracting or 'Fallout 3'? It should be 'Data'. Try looking in the 'Fallout 3' directory for a 'textures' folder. If it's there this is the mistake you made. Move it to 'Data'. Otherwise, do a search for the folder 'questitems'. Make sure it's at 'Fallout 3\data\textures\clutter\questitems\'. Move it as required.

edit. If all you want to achieve is returning that Geck nif to it's vanilla state then delete it from your 'data\meshes' folder. The game will then use the bsa-packed version. Might be simpler in the long run.
