NEW MOD!-PROJECT SCL!

1) Your spamming is painful to read. You would probably have a better chance of finishing this project if the discussion thread had more content than arguing over who has to welcome the new members.

2) You're worrying about signiature designs. This should be your last priority.

3) You're counting on members who are already involved with another major project. I wouldn't count on Septim741 to actually contribute much, very few people have anywhere near enough time to work on two large-scale projects at once.

Do you have to always have to critisice our project?and put everything in point form?

and besides Some Guy and I are working on the mod every chance we get.

  • The latter two statements are valid.
  • As for the first, while having everyone greet a new member is a bit spammy and clutters up the thread, it doesn't really hurt much as long as the team's small.

Personally, I would just use a line or two of text in my sig.

Correction. THREE large scale projects:

Project Serpent - Exterior Designer

Project Oblivion - Team Leader

Project SCL - Sigmaker

And, in case you were wondering, I do have enough time to work on all of them.

Also, we are not worried about sig designs at all, and I would can say that it is not anywhere near priority. I volunteered to make the images. I dodn't say I was going to contribute anything else.

And why do you care what our priorities are? It's easy for you to criticize a large scale project. I have never seen you make another mod, so how can you say what we are doing is wrong if you have no experience modding yourself? All you are posting is criticism, not constructive criticism. Don't criticize unless you have a better idea, and if you do post it. That is wht the forums rules say to do.

A question for all members of this team. What are you expecting this to turn into with a leader who uploads mods like this?

Just showing common sense....I can't be 100% sure, but Some Guy doesn't look like he's up to the job of a team leader.

Also:

hey shut up Arun! I am involved in a MAJOR mod! So why don't u go and shove those clapping hands up ur ***!(note I put stars to avoid moderators!) Besides I hav made better mods than this AND I TOLD U I AM A NOOB!!

Not only this is flaming, you're bragging about being involved in a MAJOR (Look how it says major, now people think I am very important) mod. This might be true, but you don't have to go bragging around, because it's nothing major yet.

So far this looks like another doomed project.

Thanks for the advice but Some Guy isn't the leader,I am.

That's exactly what I mean.

Anyway, I've tested your beta. Not through playing, but through the construction set. Because that shows much much more...

(Who is doing the exterior/interior designing?)

Alright it's a long list, here we go...

The editor ID's seem to make no sense. ffa, aaffhf, aadfs, AAA, AAAAA... Is there any kind of system in this? It looks like a mess to me. Especially because many ID's consist of only the letter A. I strongly recommend a better system.

How I do it: <First three letters of modder's name> <Two letters of the mods name> <What object and for/from who?> <script, package, item or topic. When item, just a number>. The diary from my npc Ventus Verbosus would then be: <Pov> <ss> <Ventus> <Diary> <01>: PovssVentusDiary01 A script: <Pov> <ss> <QMgauntlets> <script>: PovssQmGauntletsScript.

For some reason the Aleswell Inn has been edited, because it shows a *. I don't see any differences, and I don't see why there should be any. These kinds of random edits can cause some nasty conflicts.

The door at 'Big Tower' doesn't look right without anything around it. It looks like a wall with a door sticked onto it, and not a real door going somewhere. The door at the 'Dark Shadow Cave' marker, and the doors at hobo's treehouse are other examples.

The isle with a few statues on it has a lot of flying trees, and there seems to be an Xmarker there that has no function. All the xmarkers on the isles seem to be related to A.I. packages that don't exist?

You can look through the back of the door on the higher level at hobo's treehouse.

Shouldn't the doors at hobo's tree house lead to an interior which connects the upper to the lower part, instead of just teleporting you up?

Floating morning glory leaves. Slightly floating rocks you can sit on.

Floating (not a havok problem, just wrong placed) paper in 'Hobo Joe's hideout'.

Bed in 'AAAANicholasHironyms' cell floating and sticking in the wall.

Lots and lots of other designing that looks weird. In a negative way. Probably more floating statics.

I think this qualifies as constructive criticism. ;)
