Chetverikov
After the Dead Money update to and the update of NVSE to 1.0b7, I've found that the weapon modification interaction with Moe from the Book Of Earache mod seems to be broken. When asked to perform a modification, she will take the money and tell you to give her the weapon and come back tomorrow. However, the weapon will not be removed from your inventory, and she will then stick in the "Come back later after I'm done" state no matter how much time passes. A few other people seem to have encountered this problem, so I'm wondering if anyone else has found a non-technical workaround. Failing that, I'd like to know the best way to create a log of what's going on when I enter that conversation so I can find the problem scripts/flags. Unfortunately I have zero Gamebryo/FO3/FNV modding experience, so any help would be appreciated. Edited February 27, 2011 by Chetverikov
davidlallen
The information you've given seems enough for the mod author to reproduce the problem, if they have purchased Dead Money that is. Have you posted on the earache endorsements thread and sent a PM to the author?

Have you posted on the earache endorsements thread and sent a PM to the author? Yes and no, respectively. I didn't want to badger Earache42 with a PM before making more efforts to resolve the issue myself.
davidlallen
Debugging somebody else's mod is slow and painful. I encourage you to PM. *One* PM is not badgering, and if the author receives one PM each from many people, they will be more motivated. If you want to try debugging, have you used fnvedit? If not install that and get the excellent training manual. Then bring up dead money and earache in fnvedit and "check for conflicts". Maybe it will be something obvious. I did use FNVedit, and no conflicts were detected.
