CSCGUY
Hello all! I am a new to Skyrim modding and modding in general. In my mod, I was trying to disable the flame that appears in the CandleHornWall01 object for a Inn I am creating. I simply wantto have the candle down on a table as if being worked on. This would look better if the fire did not appear.I've tried to use the "Turn Off Fire" checkbox in the reference editor, but it doesn't seem to work. Is there a step I am missing? What would be the best approach to accomplish this task? Thanks! CSCGUY
Estroya
You have to change the model of the candle. Open it in NifSkope http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope and delete some branches until it looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/6r4Vrzw.png then you have to set the Emmisive Color in the blockdetails to black.then save the modified mesh in a different directory or with a different name. CSCGUY
Thanks! A great help :) I have one more question: If that is the case, then what does the "Turn Off Fire" checkbox do, if anything?
