Theres the link to my ESP. I do wish you the best of luck  I've been trying to do custom voices in Fallout NV, but the sound files are always silent in the geck and ingame, yet they work just fine in my PC (.wave 16bit)

OK I'll take a peek and see what I can do.

Also, the armor obj's are imports from Halo 4. Getting permission might be a lil tough

You'v got 700+ posts brother, you should know that converting copyright models is a invitation for Nexus's ban hammer

Its only subject to the ban hammer if its uploaded to their site. lolz.

But thank you for atleast taking a crack at doing the voice/Automated Meds for the suits :D

Straight from the Nexus terms of service;

"Legal inquiries regarding copyright infringement are taken very seriously on Nexus sites and we will work with any legal body to identify and bring to justice anyone who might use a Nexus site to share copyrighted material."

I'm not going to distribute copyright material (ie use Halo 4 assets to make you armor), so this isn't pertinent to me personally.....just an attempt to save you a warning or worse. I'm surprised you haven't seen the multitude of posts by new users asking essentially the same thing (and the responses they received)....especially since you must have been here a while.

It's easy to understand Nexus's policy. They simply don't want to facilitate illegal activities (whether that's copyright infringement, piracy etc), through the use of their forums (or any other nexus service/asset/property).

It doesn't matter if it's for a single person (ie you) or a million, the concept remains the same regarding distributing (in this example making halo 4 armor with copyright assets) copyright protected material.

It's crystal clear, but if you have any doubts just contact a moderator they'll give you the info straight from the source.

NP I'll try to find some time to take a look at it.

  • 2 weeks later...

Im guessing he either forgot about it, or couldnt do it >-<

I havn't forgotten about it, simply haven't had a chance to look it over. Keep in mind my previous statement that I'd just take a look at it, it's not a mod that I'm interested in doing. But if it's very simple I may knock it out for you.

Oh well, Still looking for someone to get that script working :D

Definitely, maybe someone will take care of that for you.

Heh, maybe one day :P

For now, Im too busy with Weapons/Projectiles/sounds/cells to worry about a minor thing like that :P

Well I could do a implant so that you have the AI with you regardless of what armor (or any clothing/armor at all) your wearing.

Holy crap, I've been trying to figure out how to make it an implant! I tried modifying the quest dialogue so that it would use its dialogue if I had a certain invisible perk, which would be added by a modded armor with a modified stealth suit script, but it would still only talk if I was wearing the actual stealth suit. I want it to be an implant so I have a little buddy with me who can't be taken away from me. He will be my best friend ever. Of all time.

I know right  Transfer over the AI and wear whatever armor you want while your BFF chats away in your noggin. Some parts are a little problematic like loading the med-X (not sure where those are stored) but most of the upgrades could probably be justified (+1 agility CNS stimulation, +1 perception occipital lobe stimulation etc). Maybe the med-X could be replaces with adrenal gland stimulation and be limited by how many times you could use it in a hour or day (instead of using an actual med-x injection/injector). I think it could probably work. Doctor Usanagi is obviously a very capable physician and most of her other implants function along similar lines....this one would just involve the addition of an AI.

Well, the Med-X and Stimpacks bit isn't the functionality that's the problem. I'm mostly concerned with the voice. I made my own armor that occupied the headband slot and didn't have a nif, modified the stealth suit script to add a perk when the headband was worn, and went through and changed all the dialogue so that it was dependent on having that perk instead of wearing the stealth suit. And it still wouldn't talk unless I was wearing the actual stealth suit (with the exception of taking the headband off, at which point it would say one of the dialogue lines that always make me feel bad for removing it). So lately I've just changed the stealth suit itself to have no nif, changed it to the headband slot, and made it a quest item. It's not what I was going for but it's a decent solution until I or someone else can make the implant work.

I think you misunderstood my post, I wasn't writing about game mechanics. Rather I was addressing the in game lore in re: to stimpack/med-x use.

Re: the actual game mechanics of the voice, I suspect it's something I can tackle (just need a bit of free time to look over the script).
