I started a new game and since then the arrow doesn't line up with the site when I'm in sneak mode. It looked correct in a previous save but I changed weather mods now I can't use that one. I tried reinstalling DR6 but that didn't work. Is there a oblivion.ini setting I'm missing? pchclx Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 i have a similar problem, and i too believe it might be related to DR6 simply, my crosshairs are slightly misaligned. if i line up a spell cast from some distance away, i will always miss- unless i purposely overcompensate by aiming to the left of the target. i uninstalled Deadly Reflex in an unfortunately messy way, and i feel like that's what caused this. any tips on resetting / recalibrating this would be appreciated! Which skeleton do you have in your characters\_1stperson directory? DR6 uses "3rd person animations in 1st person view" animations and skeleton, and this (special) skeleton has a 9° tilt to the left. I never understood why, but maybe that's exactly what you see. So if you have this (16 KB) skeleton, simply remove it and see what happens. pchclx Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 DR6 was indeed causing the problem, more specifically my messy install + uninstall. from what i can tell, most of dr6's skeleton and animation files were still in place and even though i had the esp/esm de-activated, they were still causing problems. i fixed it by re-doing a PROPER install of DR6 with OBMM, creating and adding the archive file and allowing it to associate all it's meshes and files properly. i still didn't want to use DR6, but since i had all my file associations fixed, when i double-click deactivated it in OBMM and re-build my bashed batch in wrye, everything was back to normal hooray! dunno if this is an over-explained answer but i've had lots of frustration myself and hopefully this helps someone.
