bar1004 Posted July 24, 2015 Share Posted July 24, 2015 (edited) I have a problem with my quest markers, the game randomly displays or not displays some floating quest markers, map quest markers are fine and that's how I know that the floating ones are gone, I will show it on a example of a inn, where I have currently 3 active quest and sometimes when I launch the game, sometimes when I reload the save or I activate quest markers for Stones of Barenziah, some of the floating markers attached to those quest disappear and to repair them I have to either disable some quests in my journal or relaunch entire game (or with the Stones disabling markers again sometimes works, but relaunching game also does).So... Is there a limit for a number of floating quest markers? Because that would explain why turning on 'Stones' vanishes some markers (too many new markers, so the older ones disappear, but after relaunch they load in different order so they reappear). Or is it some odd bug? Is there a fix for this? Estroya Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 I'm not sure if this is what you meant but you only see 4 markers in a interior cell with the barenziah mod enabled, because you would have to go through the door to get to the stones. so all markers that show the barenziah stones are merged to the doormarker. bar1004 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Share Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) I'm not sure if this is what you meant but you only see 4 markers in a interior cell with the barenziah mod enabled, because you would have to go through the door to get to the stones. so all markers that show the barenziah stones are merged to the doormarker.No, I know that most of the quests are exterior, the problem is that the floating and compass markers are gone most of the time for some quests, but map markers are fine, so if I don't know where to exactly go or to whom exactly speak I need to open map every now and again.And barenziah mod is there as an example because activating it also breaks some markers (not all of them) and deactivating it or relaunching the game helps most of the time, but for short time, because either relaunching breaks other markers or later loading game also breaks it. andryandrew Posted August 18, 2015 Share Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) I have exactly the same issue, and my modlist does not include any of yours apart from the USKPs and SkyUI (so we can rule a mod problem) I extensively searched on google for the problem, and every now and then someone experienced it. Someone knows how to solve it?
