SenReality
So heres the story, you know I was getting kind of tired not having my fav little gal in FNV - but before I create her I want to have her usual weapons which I had drawn her with, in FNV - the 9m Beretta is fine, got that - the serrated half edge combat knife, got that! the AUG A3 with underslung, extended barrel and 16x scope - didnt have that, but FO3 had an AUG A3 weapon! so I set out to port it, and well I have ported it nicely into FNV - correcting issues with the scope and barrel, however for the life of me I just cant remember or figure out how to make the character hold the AUG A3 correctly, plus the mag for the AUG is out of place, I've looked in nifskope - the model is fine, its just in GECK and in FNV the mag is shifted back abit. That can be figured out over time, but my big issue is the animation, how do I get the PC / NPC to use the correct animation for holding the AUG? The incorrect animation/pose or whatever it is for holding the gun, must correct this x.x
SenReality
Nevermind fixed the issue with the mag/clip being out of place, now I just need to know what the hell is up with the animation for holding the gun. pickinthebanjo
To get your character to hold the weapon correctly just move it in nifskope. This has happened with all the weapons I ported and all I had to do was reposition the pieces to their proper places. From what I can see though once you get it held correctly (just move the rifle parts back a bit) you are going to have some clipping issues. The SVU I ported is about the same size and it clips through the shoulder, I had to move the grip/trigger back and chop a bit of the butt down to make it fit properly you should also scale it down because it is larger than it should be Edited March 1, 2011 by pickinthebanjo
