zionprophecy
AH ha! lol thanks, yea i found it its my comp doens't show extensions so i didn't know which one.ANyways i renamed the file, did a proper system reboot from the help of microsoft. Also after i renamed the file and played the game a new one showed up after i exited the game...should i delete the one i renamed? and where should i include the joystick line? "Fable.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" yea i loaded Fable on and when i loaded it up it came to this, i jsut installed it.....happened awhile ago too, funny things is my Guild wars still works, and i used to play a lot of games on this comp and all of a sudden recently they dont work. I called my tech guy and he said that from what hes seen and read from here and from what i've told him that MAYBE my graphics card is effed up, like the memory or something and that it cant process anything. But would that close Fable and do the things that are happening with this?Oh and i installed battlefield 2 and it wouidln't load just went to a black screen then would close
Guest Tessera
Yah... your tech guy seems to be leaning in the same direction that I was, when I said that your hardware could be getting intermittent errors. If you have a spare video card lying around anywhere, you might try swapping it for your present card and then see if the system stops behaving erratically. Right now, I'm beginning to doubt that you have anything wrong with Oblivion itself. I think you're system is suffering from some larger issue. Yea it is, i tried fable,m battlefield 2 and all of them konked out on meSomoene mentioned this from my DXDIAG tests and when i opened it up and told them everything:Otherwise I am like 99.99999% sure the problem is trying to run a moderately high end videocard on a weak HP generic PSU. What you probably need is something like this in fact heres the link to the other thread, im trying to get a large range of answers, make things more easier to figure out and possibly solve...or vice versahttp://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.p...p;#entry9106809
