faffman
We all know the Unrelenting Force is a great shout, and it's useful for any character, regardless of your playstyle. But getting the full shout is a lot of work, and it will take at least an hour or two even if you devote yourself to getting it before doing anything else. Some people, like myself, often start new characters. So to get the shout in a quick manner, I suggest the use of portals. Portals that can only be used one way, so you can't use a portal and then go back through the same portal, and they can also only be used once each, then they disappear. These portals are placed in relevant places to the main questline, in places that still require you to do the key points of each quest. So basically, they cut down on the traveling and dungeon delving. I'm thinking the portals being placed like this: Riverwood Trader -> Right before the giant spider in Bleak Falls Barrow (in order to get the claw from Arvel)The first room with Draugr in said barrow (because Arvel will die here even if you don't stop him) -> in front of the claw door (to get use of the claw)The room with the skull and mountain flowers after the big room in the same barrow -> in front of the Whiterun gates After this, I think you can do the legwork until the part after you kill the first dragon and get back to Balgruuf. Then the next portal is Dragonsreach -> Ivarstead (or High Hrothgar directly, but delivering Klimmek's supplies is very easy money if you stop by here first)Then to High Hrothgar from IvarsteadHigh Hrothgar courtyard -> the word wall in UstengravFrom there -> the room with the hornThe room where you exit to after opening the secret door after the chest room (this is to easily get the free dragon soul(s) from the horn pedestal) -> Sleeping Giant InnDelphine's basement -> High Hrothgar againHigh Hrothgar -> Riverwood Trader, to close the circle I know it's a lot of text, but think of the time you could save with these portals. I know I could use coc or player.moveto, but I've done that a few times, and it has bugged the game occasionally. And I don't want to add the shout by console, in case I want to do the rest of the main questline. They aren't too difficult to place, I hope? It doesn't sound like it needs any scripts or anything, and you could use existing portal models, like the one that takes you to Sanguine in Morvunskar. Estroya
You get the Unrelenting Force Shout during the main quest so placing the portals somewhere on your way which you are walking to do the main quest is useless because you wouldn't save much time. And also where should the portals lead to? You only get the first word of the shout from a wordwall the other two words do the greybeard teach you. And i also think that it could break the mainquest when you learn the words before the greybeards teach you the words, because for the quest its required to learn the words, and you can't learn words when you have learned them already

simtam
> I know I could use coc or player.moveto, but I've done that a few times, and it has bugged the game occasionally bugged, you say? so could portals. but yeah, it's not difficult to place portals, so feel free to do it. faffman
It doesn't bug the game every time, but abusing console commands is known to cause more than less bugs. Not to mention you have to look up all the cell IDs, which will take a few minutes extra, and you won't always end up at the exact wanted position. But with these portals, as long as you complete all the quest steps, there shouldn't be many problems at all. I would place them myself if I knew how. Not to mention my CK tends to crash whenever I try to do something...
lewisthekingleaman
My team could do it but honestly just use the teachword console command
