Moving weapon from mod to mod

Help for simple question, I hope. There's a nice weapon in a free-to-change mod, and I want to move it to another mod. What is the easiest way to do that? Even better, is it possible to export it so that I can use it for any actor in Skyrim.

As far as 'moving' it to another mod you just need to load the esp of the mod your wanting to alter, find the weapons list in the ck, duplicate a prexisting sword then edit its base file and replace it with the weapon nif your wanting. And if your wanting random npc to use it add it to the leveled list..and that's about it

Thank you. Rather that random NPCs, what do I do if I want to add it to a separate follower mod?

If you just want it to be used by a follower, follow the same process above but don't add it to the leveled list instead open the npcs inventory and click new and find your weapon.
