dimedius Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Hi, I spent a lot of time researching how to get a custom pistol mesh into fnv. I am now wanting to branch off and mess around with accessories/armor/clothing types of things but having a hard time finding answers to things like "what are the engines limitations to adding an item to the head and attaching to the arm/pipboy". Also, I'm sure, animating this stuff is going to be fairly standard (especially if head accessory is attached to arm via a cable of sorts). Could this be done? I can't seem to find any example of it, and again, an extensive resource of tutorials (something I can read through and get an idea before starting a project and wasting time on something that can't be done) thanks very much. It turns out, there are wireless versions of what I'm wanting to make. I won't need to rig it so much now but I'm curious about how many items you can attach to the head via in game. For instance, if I wanted to make a data jack, would it be as "simple" as making another head with the new modeled jack on it and switch back and forth? Or would you add it on as an accessory like sunglasses (which leads to how many items on the head is allowed and if there are tricks to working around that limitation). Thanks again.
