Scg666Mod
Not sure if this is suitable for a new topic as I posted regarding a similar problem earlier but I managed to solve that only to be struck with a new issue. Any time my ai packages require a change of location even down a set of stairs (Properly navmeshed) They just warp insteaid of walking. Any ideas? The packages do not over lap if that helps. Veltoss
Warping doesn't sound like a package problem, it sounds like a navmesh problem IMO. I don't believe any package would make them warp without some kind of script making them do it. But I am pretty sure they will "jump" from one piece of navmesh to another if they can't properly navigate. I'd double check guides like this one and make sure you did everything correct. If no one else has a better answer, I'd be happy to take a look at your navmesh if you want and see if I spot anything you've missed. Sometimes it takes a second set of eyes to find something when you've been working on a problem for too long. :p
sLoPpYdOtBiGhOlE
Veltoss has pretty well nailed it.Most cases npcs teleporting from one spot to another instead of using the path, is navmesh related or obstruction in the path the ai needs to take. Other things that can also cause this type of behavior is altering game settings like fSandboxCylinderBottom or fSandboxCylinderTop.(eg: having multi floor sandboxing mod enabled while testing what you've done)

Scg666Mod
Ok went back over the navmesh, maybe I've missed something in the tutorials cause I have no idea what's wrong. Uploaded Screenshots for you to have a look at.
NexBeth
Is there a particular spot where this happens? Also, a shot of the house looking down, because the view you have doesn't help much.
Tlaffoon
Okay what you need to do is open up navmesh then choose test. Next pick an actor and right click on your point A above the stairs then click on your point B below the stairs if a green path shows up then your navmesh isn't the problem if it's a broken yellow path then your navmesh is messed up somewhere. Shurah
The navmeshes on the ladder and around the ladder are way too narrow. You may have to rethink the design of your house to fix that.
Veltoss
The navmeshes on the ladder and around the ladder are way too narrow. You may have to rethink the design of your house to fix that. That might be it. It also looks like the navmesh is a bit low. I honestly don't know for sure how much the height of the navmesh in relation to the floor makes a difference, but if it does then it might be better to have a smoother slope directly above the steps. I don't think he needs to redesign the house, though. It looks like a copy of all the other farmhouses with basements. I think you should just widen the navmesh as much as you can, Scg666mod, and maybe check out the navmesh in existing identical farmhouses already ingame for reference.
