Campaigner Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 here's the thing I'm trying to use. Yes, a nuka-cola laser. I just wanted a laughable weapon, don't patronize me :D
pickinthebanjo Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 well it sure turned out different then. Did you want it to be an unanimated picture? Or did you want it to do something similar to what it had to begin with (that screen)? If you wanted it to be just the flat unanimated texture I would look in nifskope and see if there is a lens or some part that the screen uses and remove it, if it left a big hole I would just fix it in blender or 3ds whichever you use.
Campaigner Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Trying to make it a static image with no changes. Messing around in nifskope doesn't even show me any possible use of the other screens for the C-finder weapon, so I can't get rid of it from what I can find.
pickinthebanjo Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 If I get some time today I will open it up and see what I can do
Campaigner Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 kk, thanks :D. I finished several edits and such already, just need to get this one done and I can upload em to the nexus. Thanks for sticking around and helping out so much.
pickinthebanjo Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/2152/ymjtr.jpgTexture both of those screens and tell me what happens
Campaigner Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Here is exactly what is shown in my window, following your instructions. When loaded into the game, it looks like the second image.
pickinthebanjo Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 ok i am going to try to stick one of my textures into it and see if I can solve it
pickinthebanjo Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Alright try this -http://www.gamefront.com/files/20060834/C-finder.rar Just select the screen and retexture it
Campaigner Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 That fixed the issue of the image not showing, but it's tilted 90 degrees clockwise lol. How do I rotate the object? Otherwise, you worked wonders there, and I am incredibly thankful that you sorted out the problem and took the time to help out a complete scrub.
