Hey all,

Just wondering if somebody might be kind enough to clear me for takeoff.

EDIT: uninstalled everything and starting from scratch. If somebody can tell me the proper install order for these or point me to a resource that indicates as much, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here's what I want to install:

  • FO3 Wanderer's Edition
  • FO3 Redesigned (Formerly Project Beauty)
  • Martigen's Mutant Mod
  • RH_IronSights
  • Simple Realism 3.3
  • Weapon Mod Kits
  • Fellout 1_21R2
  • EVE 099
  • Arefu Expanded
  • DCInteriors Project
  • FO3 Reanimated
  • Enhanced Weather
  • Animated Prostitution - Work never done
  • Body Control
  • Breezes FO3 Female
  • Existence 2 Robot Radio

Is there a correct order to install these in to avoid overwriting the wrong files?

Thanks VERY MUCH in advance.

Original post below

All Mods installed by NMM. Below is my load order in FOMM. Also, I haven't tried installing DUI F3 yet because I'm not sure which folder to extract it to. The install instructions say:

  • Back up your menus folder if you have one.
  • Extract zip to Fallout 3\fomm\mods
  • Activate the mod in FOMM Package Manager

But I don't have a Fallout 3\fomm\mods folder. Should I create the directory? I'd like to install FOOK2 but don't wanna break my game.

Anyway, here's my FOMM load order:

what was used to sort that set of mods with?

you can't run any patches for mods not yet installed.

as far as the esm verses esp thing goes? I give up, bits flagged and so on is on the trash heap.

Fomm with the proper template for sorting would not produce that listed nor queued list.

  • Mart's Mutant Mod - FOOK2.espMart's Mutant Mod - FOOK2 - DIK.esp

you can't run these, you can't run Fook2 with FWE Either.

Sorry, I'm a bit out of my depth. I'll disable FOOK2 and related items and repost. I downloaded FO3Edit which is pointing out conflicts as I go. A bit laborious but I'm trudging through. I'll repost when I know what's up. Is there a release/list out there that's considered the optimal mod mix? Like FWE + EVE + Weapon Mods + Fellout, etc., etc.?

Thanks in adance.

"FO3Edit" is not a sort order tool, it can check the status of the order sorted by other programs and it stops posting when the order checked is incorrect.

But this brings into the conversation arguments as to it's use.

I won't be bothered with it any more, Fomm, needs an updated template to sort your mods correctly.

Loot will do a fair job IF things are not edited, once you touch any mod or plugin with "FO3Edit" the CRC of those plugins change forever.

Loot reads that, crc gets shown.

Fomm Boss also shows crc codes of the plugins.

Time stamps " reflect CRC " directly..If there is any doubt? pick a plugin to test, post it's name here and I'll show you how the test is conducted.

you need Boss, you need Loot. Your Java needs to be up to date too in order to read the data as it is today.

Use of "FO3Edit" in the performance of "cleaning" is clearly posted from the results..as to witt, any mod or DLC content not yet cleaned will be posted in the result, thus informing the user to "clean them"..so when this is done, the CRC changes ,thus also the time stamps on them as well.

this effect how the other programs operate.

  1. New Vegas mod site: obtain the forked version of Fomm.
  2. Download the updated templates I made and place them into the install info folder found in your games root directory.
  3. sort the mods, close and reopen Fomm..
  4. repeat this if using Boss.
  5. C:\users\(username...that's you)\apps\ "boss", "loot"\"Fallout3" folders is where all of these templates "Loadorder.txt, Masterlist.txt and so on go.

Now, you can modify the mods in the correct order Meant to be.

LOL. oh my, I forgot ,the GOTY edition raw shown in the boss result or the Loot results after sorting...clearly shows the CRC and the instructions from them to clean the DLC's..

EDIT: oh wow, it's all gone now!..

wonders never seem to amaze me. Dam, write down the CRC codes on paper and proceed to clean them one at a tile ,then runt the scan to sort again and see what you find.

read the time of each too before and after in windows.

but, Do not creat any mods with cleaned DLC's the Geck will not allow it.

Built in DRM protections and a few other tid bit's I shall not mentions. IF you can load them that is?....

Proof rendered .I will help if you get things up and running.

search term "forked"

Fomm, download, install. use.

yes, it's well worth it.

all current to date software have the CRC code's display view removed.

Not to worry, I have all the older versions too.

BTW...xedit uses CRC verifications script's with in it's own folder. interesting facts.
