Gehenna, no backpack.

OK try this one. If it doesn't work, I'll just have to wait until I get a chance to fire it up and blender and then muck around with it.

Still the same issue. Backpack visible, hand invisible when Ghenna equipped. Thanks for your work on this. I know it is "unrealistic" to get rid of the fuel tank "needed" for the weapon. I suppose it is just as silly for a player to run around with a gas tank on the back ready to be blown sky-high when shot.

Yeah, I suppose so, although a variant of it could be cool and realistic (well realistic in a fallout sense....it's all relative). Say one that has a plasma effect (green flames) and a hilt studded with MFs or ECs (or just a big MF cell on the end of the hilt, like the one used for power armor in FO4). It's power source would then be part of the blade.

Did you also remove the glove in the GECK? I'm betting that what you're seeing (or rather not seeing) is the kitchen glove that was a part of the Shishkebab accessories.

I didn't touch anything in geck, just punched up the form to get the model name. No worries though I'm sure it won't be a problem once I get time to fire it up in blender.

Well, all I'm saying is probably you SHOULD just remove the armour in the Geck, or you'll keep having that problem. The GECK definition says it should display a glove instead of your hand. If you deleted that node in the NIF, you're probably seeing no hand.

Here, catch. Just tested it and it works for me. No backpack, no glove, no missing limbs.

I caught and installed. It works great. I was surprised to see an esp included but then I know little about modding other than how to install them. Thanks for your work.

Well, it's the glove thing that I mentioned earlier. It's set in the GECK record, so it can only be removed by an .esp.

I suppose I could have left that node in the .nif, but I never was a fan of wearing an oven glove. It doesn't go well with my sharp-dressed persona. Plus, I knew this worked, since I've done the exact same thing before. My one-hander lightsabers are remeshed and retextured Shishkebabs. So I skipped the experimenting and went for the .esp solution.

I suppose I could have

Moraelin if you have time could you post a quick crib notes on what you did, that would save me some time having to figure it out myself. Partly because I just want to know for general knowledge, but also because I think I'm going to make the plasma variant I described in a earlier post. Thanks in advance (if you have the time to do it).
