Milk

Ditto, mate. I like all kinds of cheeses too: yellow & white cheddar (not considered a cheese by the French - just goes to to show what a bunch ignorant snobs they are :P ), mozzarella (always good on a 12" Chicago Deep Dish with extra pepperoni, YUM  !), parmigiano reggiano (we call it "parmesan", always good on Italian dishes, especailly spaghetti), blue cheese (especially the sauce that goes good on buffalo wings), feta cheese (Greek cheese typically made from goat's milk, good on Greek salads), Monterey Jack (classic sammich companion), Swiss (the original Emmenthaler cheese), true American cheese (not the chemically-altered, overly-processed poison we find at the supermarket often marketed as "American cheese"), and of course Dutch Gouda (a slice on a pastrami sammich tastes oh so good... mmm, my mouth is watering now... ).

You mention all these good uses for cheese yet forgot to mention one: simply chowing it ;D Several times I just sit and eat slices of cheese (even though they are meant for sandwiches). My favourite cheese has got to be provolone (probably inherited from my Italian ancestry). I also found a suprisingly delicious combo: tortilla chips with sliced provolone  I tried white chedder once, but didn't like it. I don't much like chedder in general...I've never had blue cheese...the idea of eating fungus filled cheese...I'm not sure i'd like it...however, I can't be sure unless I try it...

Any-hoo, yes I've heard that vanilla soy milk isn't as bad...I thought it was a lie, but now you say it too...

btw, we call it "parmesan" here too.

I've tried melted process cheese over Doritos once... tasted rather funky  ...

I haven't tried provolone on tortillas before (probably cuz I haven't had it all  ...)

And when I said "We call it 'parmesan'", I meant those of us who live in North America, which is pretty much just Canada *gets very patriotic and starts to sing "O Canada" in an operatic voice* and the USA *gets very patriotic and starts to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" in an operatic voice*. I know Mexico and the other Central-American nations are also a part of N. America, but everybody else doesn't really notice them... Or do they...

I rather like cottage cheese. I don't think anybody has mentioned that yet.

When it comes to cheeses, my personal favorite is sharp cheddar, though regular cheddar works too. I detest swiss and pepperjack. American, well, don't have a strong opinion on it. Just depends on wether I want cheese or not if I'll eat american.

Milk, well, I guess I have to be in the mood for it. I could drink a bit anytime, but, I really have to be in the mood for it to chug down a big glass or more. I agree, it is addictive, and must be had everyday. Chocolate milk tends to be easier to drink a gallon at a time.

You are quite right about that, lol. I consider Mexico to be a part of the US...because half of them live here anyways :P Central America...unless I am directly talking about it, I don't consider it to even exist.

Oh yeah, I forgot cottage cheese! How could I forget that chunky, liquidy, chewy, delicious cheese! That stuff rocks.

I'm getting a glass of milk...

Oh sh*t... I completely forgot to mention cottage cheese... just goes to show what a complete scatterbrain I am  ... he he...

Of course, as much as I like cheese and dairy in general, I can't really eat a lot of the stuff. You gotta remember that eating too much cheese has the tendancy to bung you up for days (and we all know what that feels like  ). All you can do is sit on the crapper for hours on end, praying to God anything will come out, but as hard as you strain your guts (almost to the point of hemorrhaging and passing out right there on the can and possibly having a seizure...), nothing doesn't wanna seem to move...

Huh? What? Did you say something? I didn't hear anything...

Okay, I would have been better off not reading what you didn't type. At least, you say you didn't type it, and yet here I am, reading it. Odd.

Back on topic. I would eat cottage cheese before a glass of milk. I guess it ranks highest on my list of favorite dairy products, even though I don't have it as often as milk.

Um... We pretty much agree on everything here. Anybody have something negative to say about milk and its offspring dairy products?

Not you too...I will say "milk." I will say "negative." However, I will never say those two words in the same senence. It cannot be.
