quik
So i've been changing around NCR correctional facility to make it more suitable for RTS, removing clutter, parts of buildings etc. The problem is when I load up the game the "old" buildings still looks like they are there, but with disorted textures and I can walk right through them....Anyone know how to fix this? Also I've nav meshed some of the roofs and now when I fast travel all citizens and soldiers seem to spawn on the roofs for some reason. It's almost like the new meshes are prio or something.Same goes for people exiting the buildings from the inside, they end up on the roof for some reason and have to walk down... The nav-meshes from before are unaltered so I dont get it, all I did was add some stairs and nav mesh the roofs.
davidlallen
Unfortunately there is no solution for the old buildings remaining visible, which is why most FNV modders don't remove buildings or lower landscape. See this thread for where I learned this painful lesson. Regarding the navmeshes, I find it very awkward to maneuver even one navmesh without accidentally getting some mesh points on furniture or the ceiling. Are you sure that all of your roof navmesh points are on the roof, and there is no accidental connection? Did you finalize the navmesh? Do you see the problem less, or never, if you convert your mod into an esm? These are all standard navmesh problems for which you can find threads containing the details. quik
Ok guess ill have to leave the buildings then. Gonna try converting the mod to esm and check if the navmesh problem goes away.
