OpenWorldAddict Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 It just dawned on me that every time I encounter the 'courier' on occasions other than he is delivering me a message, I always find him strolling about saying he does not have to time to talk because he has urgent messages to deliver. Does it bother you that the only courier in skyrim does not have a horse? it bothers me. First, a horse would enable him to get away from trouble when he encounters it, which would not only endanger him (and he doesn't look like the type of person who would be able to handle himself in battle), but it would also slow him down taking him longer to reach his 'urgent' destination. Besides, when I was playing Oblivion, while walking the roads of Cyrodiil, I was constantly encountering messengers racing from city to city on horseback. It just makes sense for someone who is a messenger to travel on horse. By the way, just to let you know, the line "Give that man a horse" came from some fantasy book I read where an journeyman was taking an important message to the capital and the local lord order his men to give him a horse so that he can reach it with utmost speed. BigBizkit Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 Ah, finally a fine idea. It should be perfectly feasible to change the couriers which you encounter on the roads to horsemen. However, those which actually deliver messages to you probably not.
