devinpatterson
Seems like most of the traveling merchants are 1 merchant, 1 bodyguard/mercenary & 1 brahmin. I'd like to see some variety. Maybe a train of 4 brahmin, maybe a pair of brahmin. Perhaps a merchant using a patched up security bot as the pack mule. Some crimson caravans in the wasteland. Maybe a gun runner caravan. Just mix things up a bit and make enough merchants/caravans to make each appear unique. What do you guys think?
SoggyWaffle
It would be cool to have covered wagons pulled by brahmin. That would make more sense then just on brahmin with some crap on it.

I wanted to do brahmin pulling truck bed trailers, I think that would fit perfectly with the fallout setting. But I havn't even started modeling so I guess that will have to wait until I have some skill in the area or until someone can lend a hand. But I thought it might be nice to just have more variety. Say a merchant and 3 brahmin in an encounter. Or a tech merchant on a motorcycle. Or perhaps like fallout 3 a merchant with a critter (like one had a yao guai). Simply a change from 1 merchant, 1 brahmin & 1 mercenary.
Quetzlsacatanango
I have a current project that among other things adds a new caravan with a Packhorner and a Packrat.
Daedelus114
I think this would be pretty cool. I haven't seen any traveling weapon sellers. Most merchants will have some kind of ammo and a gun or two, but a merchant that specializes in bringing weapon mods and ammo to all the outlying towns would be nice. Another idea might be a water merchant. I don't know if there are any models in the game; I haven't noticed any, but if you could design an Army water-buffalo or similar trailer/water drum, you'd definitely see people from areas like Goodsprings or the Strip bringing water out to areas with no clean source. Also, on the line of traveling merchants, it seems like mercenaries don't get replaced if they get killed. A few times I've noticed that, after firefights with the local baddies, sometimes mercenaries get killed. And it doesn't seem like they get replaced... Not sure if this is the case, but I definitely don't want wandering NPCs to be able to just get killed by a pissed off radscorpion and never be seen again! devinpatterson
Quetzlsacatanango: I would never have thought about a rat (maybe one of unusual size). I was just thinking brahmin, bighorn, you know larger creatures. Looking forward to seeing your mod I think this would be pretty cool. I haven't seen any traveling weapon sellers. In the NV bsa's there is at least aqua pura barrels and water bags for brahmin. And that's an excellent suggestion about having them making runs from goodsprings (it is a clean source of h2o). As far as them dying I know they did for sure in fallout, so I think htey probably do in NV too :(
