KaelVirum
How would I go about extracting a Model and it's corresponding texture from Oblivion/Shivering Isles?
DrakeTheDragon
The models are likely to be found inside the "Oblivion - Meshes.bsa"/"DLCShiveringIsles - Meshes.bsa" and the textures inside the "Oblivion - Textures - Compressed.bsa"/"DLCShiveringIsles - Textures.bsa".Which texture(s) a NIF uses is generally defined inside the NIF itself only, and you'll need to take a look inside for yourself with NifSkope in order to find out. In order to access the respective NIFs or textures though you will need to "extract" them from the corresponding BSA archive first. This is done by using tools like BSACommander or the inbuilt feature to browse and extract these from the several mod managers floating around. My personal favorite is using the Oblivion Mod Manager's (OBMM) BSA browser utilities for this, but there's several alternatives, of course. KaelVirum
Sweet! Thanks so much! I pictured it being much harder than that to get them out of the game! You're a boon!
