LANGUAGE TEXT CHANGE

I have Reloaded my game files for WITCHER 3 WILD HUNT more than 3 times now, and for some reason, it has made itself into POLISH text language, ... I do not know how.. Would any body out there know how to revert it back to good old English text.. That was originally the way it was English text and language sound...

Did you change anything in user.settings before this problem?

You might've changed the user config file to Read Only and it recorded Polish text.

When you change your language from the main menu, the file can't be modified cos it's Read Only.

That's what usually happens.

So, how would I go about Doing that anyway.. Changing it from the main menu(language) How could I change it in the user files, and where and what are they etc...\ I CANNOT READ other languages, so if you could perhaps tell me the steps in getting to the language part of the witcher Toggles at the start of the game before you load game, so I can perhaps change it to ENGLISH.. ##very distressed #**$#

Go to Documents\The Witcher 3.

Inside, you'll find user.settings. Right click on it and check the attributes. Is it Read Only? If so, untick it.

Then, open the file with Notepad++ and find the line [Localization].

Below that line, you'll see your language preference.

Make it like this to turn it back to English:

RequestedSpeechLanguage=
SpeechLanguage=EN
RequestedTextLanguage=
TextLanguage=EN

 

Save the file. If you wanna turn the file to Read Only again, go ahead and do so.
