Tahiti92
Hello,I just downloaded the SKSE 1.7.2 and then 1.7.3 Version, i looked at some few videos but then i got few errors showing me that the SKSE is not running. For Example - 'SKYUI ERROR CODE 1' \ 'SkyUI will not work correctly!' And then it says that the message may also appear if there's a new patch for Skyrim that has been released and to wait for it and blah blah blah.. So, I tried to do some few fixes for the game through the manager mod but so far that what i got.. tried also to run it as administrator but.. nada. I will be very thankful for you ppl for finding a clue because it kinda discouraging me :\
bben46
If SKSE is not running, it is usually because you did not launch the game using the SKSE launcher - or one of the various other launchers ( such as the NMM one) that do start SKSE before starting Skyrim. SKSE is an extremely stable program, not a mod. And is successfully being used by several million users. Nearly all problems related to SKSE are from not understanding or not reading the documentation on how to install and use SKSE. As for the run as administrator- please blame Microsoft for that as they want to control everything you do on your computer through their paranoid UAC.http://s1.zetaboards.com/bbenlibrary/topic/4912979/1/ You will probably need to do this for the game, for SKSE, and for NMM.
Tahiti92
Hey Ben thanks for helping  So yeah i didn't use the SKSE launcher yet(Didn't know that there's a launcher of SKSE actually ), i just went to the NMM and played it from there and basically i've done 99% stuff from that video - which seems kinda helpful.. **edited** What does it mean "First, you must be logged in as an administrator or this won't work." ? Does it connects to the process of making those files under administrating or a separated action? Edited August 4, 2015 by Tahiti92
