stevie70
I'd like to put some fire into uhm well some kind of bowl, and i need real small flames for this (like the one on the vanilla torches and neoclassical sconce-thingies) - i've tried scaling fire meshes, but no matter how small i scale them, the flames just come out the same size (huge). any idea how i can do this with vanilla pieces and without packing new nifs or something (couldn't figure out how to do anything with nif-tools yet, just starting), and yes, i'm pretty sure i'm just being stupid :-)
Floatsup
Im not too familiar with all the fire fx models, but scaling should be what you want. If your serious though about doing this your going to have get some tools. Take your time though, its all a learning curve. Happens.I would suggest you just edit the vanilla in geck, and rename it to your own creation, and scale there. Then you have the orginal scalled with a new name. Look at some of the buildings too, like gomarah has a lot of those type of images. Find out what fire image there using, it may be just what your looking for without much changing anything.Don;t get fustrated though, it happens. Read as many sites as you can on stuff. You never stop learning, no matter what it is.
