sk1ntm1k3 Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 I've seen lots of mods for fixing vampire faces, and I've searched Google and TESNexus for a fix that would work, but none do.Basically, I used the Vanilla Oblivion character creation system to give my character very pale skin. I became a vampire, and now he has normal (default) skin color and a default face. I haven't ever used any kind of vampire mods or overhauls related to vampirism. I'm not using a custom race. I'm basically using vanilla Oblivion GOTY Steam Edition, all Bethesda mods enabled, with Elsweyr and Valenwood. This vampire skin problem has been present since way before I even used the GOTY mods in this play-through.If anyone has an idea of what I might be able to do to fix this, or a console code or a legit mod I could use to fix it, I would be really grateful. I've been playing this way a long time, and really wish my character could look like himself. The reason I feel like it's a bug that could be fixed is that as soon as I feed on someone (when the vampires level is set to 0 for an instant) his skin becomes what it was, then immediately turns back to default skin. I realize that Vampirism changes your characters skin color, but I was under the impression that it would change to some radical, crazy color - ie Blue Argonian. I am kind of dissatisfied with a default skin color vampire. Any discussion, advice or help would be very appreciated. I will continue to research, and if I find an answer to my own question, I'll post it here.
Remcoz Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 (edited) Hihoo :) If your character went back to default skin-color AND default face .... Then I'll bet that you got the vampire-face-bug . Have you installed Unofficial Oblivion Patch (UOP) ? ... It apparently fixes that bug (among hundreds of other glitches .)If so , try to run the vampire-aging-fix spell in your magic inventory , that might solve it (though I can't tell for sure .... I never became vampire 'til now .... so never dealt with this bug myself) If you haven't installed UOP .... then do that ;) ... It's a must-have . If this doesn't solve your face/skin ... then sorry for not being able to help more  Good luck Edited March 10, 2011 by Remcoz
