edici123
So i started fixing fallout because it didn't worked for me so i downloaded the d3d9, changed the fallout.ini and other stuff but still doesn't workWith d3d9 file i uploaded the file into the fallout 3 folder it made it worse for some reason it crashes without even getting into the game so i deleted the file i could get into the game menu and press new game but it still crashed. With fallout.ini and with the disabler i did those too but nothing I've tried looked many locations for a similar problem didn't found anything tried to fix it myself nothing either.Maybe anyone knows how to fix this i would be pleased. Thank you :)
Druuler
I had similar issues trying to get it to work on my Alienware laptop recently. In my search to find solutions (and FO3 had worked perfectly fine on the laptop before) I discovered that it does not like there being a second monitor connected and active. So, if you have a duo monitor set-up, try disabling your secondary monitor and see if that helps. I also suggest replacing the d3d9.dll file. I forgot to install it myself, and without it, I had no main menu showing up. The game launched fine, just no main menu... Also, if that suggestion does not help you, could you let us know what your Operating System is, and maybe what your video card is? That might help someone else help you with your problem.
