jdickson Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 (edited) Hi, I know the community here is probably pretty stagnant by now considering most mods are still not working with the latest patch, but I have nowhere else to go! I've never posted before because I could figure out most mods in the past, but dying light has me pulling my hair out when attempting to mod bozaks horde. All I want to do is change the base dmg on the standard arrows so that they can kill biters/virals in one shot but not be able to kill special infected in one shot. This is not as important but I also wanted to make the fire and electric arrows not attract virals as well as increase the impact radius of the explosive arrows slightly. I can live without that though. i'm sure I could figure this out on my own if someone could kindly tell me where and how to locate these values. I've already looked for hours online for tutorials on tweaking dying light .pak files, but I cannot find anything on the subject. I blame SEO. I already unzipped the DataDLC16_0.PAK file and I am using notepad to view the .LOOT files and anything else I can open with notepad, although i'm not sure if thats what I should be doing... There is nothing in the various weapons files but a few lines of coding that do not indicate that they are associated with anything i'm looking for, as well as files with the extention .scr that I cannot open .That's where i'm stuck and I have no clue what to do from there. If anyone could help me get to the point where I can browse through the individual weapon values, that would be greatly appreciated. If I manage to pull this off, I promise i'll share with the community! If I am asking an impossible task of this great community, then please let me know, so that I can accept the sh****ness of the Bozak Bow :'( Also let me know if I am going about this all wrong :tongue: Edit: After playing with the bow for a while I found a solution... when you shoot zambos in the head with the bozak bow, they die instantly, but its not too op for special zambos... turns out all I had to do is not be so sh***y at using the bow!
